A photography tour with The Farm Lodge and Lake
Clark Airoffers a unique way to help you experience Alaska.
The
Farm Lodge is located in Port Alsworth, the headquarters
of Lake Clark National Park. From the lodge our floatplanes
and boats take you into the Alaska back-country, where you
will find countless photography opportunities in scenic
remote settings.
This
untamed part of Alaska is home to a diverse population of
wildlife, birds, and breathtaking landscape.
Our
special bush-equipped wheelplanes can take you over the
tundra to see the Mulchatna herd of Barren Ground caribou.
By using well maintained aircraft and experienced pilots,
we can offer the ultimate caribou viewing experience by
landing on the tundra where the caribou are migrating.
You
can travel by floatplane to a remote location where you
will see Alaska's notorious Grizzly and Brown bears feeding
on salmon and interacting in their natural environment.
Nothing is more thrilling than seeing these powerful animals
in the wild. Our experienced guides can help you keep this
experience both exciting and safe.
The
Farm Lodge also offers photography workshops. Our workshops
are led by Alaskan professional photographer and naturalist
Jim Barr. The workshops include opportunities to photograph
bears, caribou, moose, eagles, tundra swans, waterfalls, tundra,
mountains, glaciers, glacial lakes, and more. CLICK
